IT asset disposition & data destruction in Toronto
Plan a computer fleet refresh, server room clearance or data centre exit with IT asset disposition (ITAD). We coordinate equipment recovery, data sanitization and electronics recycling, with device tracking and disposition documentation for businesses in Toronto and our regional service areas.
Four services covering the full IT asset lifecycle
IT Equipment Liquidation
Desktops, laptops, monitors, and networking gear appraised and resold through our IT asset recovery network.
Data Destruction & Sanitization
NIST 800-88 aligned data wipe or physical destruction, with certificates issued for regulated environments.
Server & Data Centre Decommissioning
Rack de-cabling, server pulls, and secure transport for full data centre exits and migrations.
Electronics & Peripheral Recycling
Printers, phones, and small electronics routed to certified e-waste recyclers with diversion tracking.
Clear, purge, or destroy: matched to what the data requires
NIST Special Publication 800-88 defines three sanitization methods. Which one applies depends on the sensitivity of the data and where the device is headed next, not a one-size-fits-all default.

Logical data wipe
Software-based sanitization of all user-addressable storage, protecting against simple recovery methods. Applied when a device stays inside your organization's control.
Certified secure erase
Physical or logical techniques that make data recovery infeasible with laboratory-grade methods. The standard for devices leaving your organization through resale or donation.
Physical destruction
Shredding or degaussing that renders the device and its data permanently unrecoverable, for the most sensitive classifications or drives that fail verification.

Sanitization first, then we look for resale value
A functioning laptop fleet or a rack of recent-generation networking gear rarely belongs in a recycling stream. Once data sanitization is verified and documented, equipment is appraised against current secondary-market demand, and any resale value is credited against your invoice.

We maintain a chain of custody from the moment a device is tagged, log serial numbers on intake, and follow NIST 800-88 guidance to select clear, purge, or destroy based on data sensitivity and destination. Certificates of sanitization or destruction are issued on request for regulated or audited environments.
